Story

The Legend of Zelda Ultimate Medley is my homage to my all-time favorite video game series. This monumental medley is a culmination of months of work from conception to execution. All top games from the franchise, from the original Legend of Zelda for the NES to A Link Between Worlds for the 3DS, is given a shout out here.

A caveat though, I'm more biased towards the major console titles especially Wind Waker and A Link to the Past since they are the most memorable for me both musically and gameplay wise. Thus I kinda considered "handheld" Zelda games as one entity, with Minish Cap and the Oracle duo games all just incorporated in the final Main Overworld themes mash-up. Link's Awakening, Phantom Hourglass and Between Worlds still got their own spot of course. As for Spirit Tracks, I consider it as the weakest game of the series both gameplay wise and musically so I ignored it completely.

Still, there are almost 40 Zelda pieces here for you to enjoy and reminisce with for 25+ minutes. So I really hope you enjoy this humongous fan tribute of mine to the greatest game franchise of all time!

The songs have been chosen through a combination of subscriber surveys from this Youtube channel, followers from my Facebook page, and my own personal discretion.

I know there could have been more pieces included here such as the Great Fairy Fountain, or even the new Mini Game theme from Between Worlds, but I want the music to move and breathe naturally with my top music choices and to not go too overboard with the video length. I believe 25 minutes is just the sweet spot for a big Zelda musical tribute video. Anything less is too short and may sound rushed, anything longer will be dragging.

Maybe I'll just make an individual version of the songs that you want me to play but did not include in the medley. Let me know in the comments below. :)
